Finally, after three years, my 68 numbers matching Roadrunner project is coming along nicely to the point where I can drive it and tinker with it instead of just sitting in the garage and just looking at it.

Nice seam sealer work in the trunk. Seam sealer takes more effort than many realize. Whole thing looks great and the wheel covers are a nice change.

Thanks for noticing the seam sealer job. I know the factory line workers just squirt and brush the stuff but I just couldn’t do it.

That's nice ! Yeah, to duplicate the way the factory did seam sealer, you'd have to be drunk or high, and in a real hurry.
My 1st RR was a '68 Decor Coupe, same colors in & out, 383/727, and a great car.
Full wheel covers were common when they were new - most on the dealer lot had them. Mine had the "road wheels" (Magnums) from the factory.
Photo is from when Hot Rod did an article on it - it was also on the cover of Car Craft - both were pleasant surprises and fun experiences.

Really nice work/example. I would appreciate a copy of a photo of the fender tag-to help develop and test my free decoder. First seven of the VIN would help. Maybe something like RM23H8(A?)...
