1968 Satellite Soort Gold........ISH

okay so some of you know I've only had the car 2 days. In fact I've purchased it and going back Saturday to pick it up.

The color is goldish or actually GOLD. I give up all the charts take me to Belvedere or another model NOT Satellite. Then there are 3 different versions of 5 charts and NONE seem to match. Seems most charts lean to 67 or 69 .....none in 68? In fact I cant find consistency among charts and none lend themselves to Satellite. I ran the fender tag and does it say a particular shade...NO it says gold.

Do any of you have a good chart that is accurate? I'm sure its a dumbbutt entry several times on my part but I relinquish my search skills and will accept any forth coming admonishment in lieu of the TRUTH! :tongue3:

my 68 gtx says belvedere on the title.......... look at the second page here, ppg doesn't even list sattelite.........

I have a 1969 Sport Satellite that is a gold color as well. I checked it online with a color chart (like the above one for 1968) and the Color name as listed is "Spanish Gold". I wonder if the Satelitte Sport would have been a derivative of the Belvedere name for that year maybe? I'm not sure if this is so, but, it may explain the issue.

Belvedere is the model line - Satellite, Sport Satellite, RoadRunner and GTX are all derivitives.
