Matching numbers 383-4 auto. Starts, runs, drives, steers, stops. Not yet ready for daily use- but close.

Loaded- A/C, cruise, power windows, power steering, power disc brakes (Bendix). R4 charger red with black interior and black top.

Front end rebuilt- upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, shocks, control arm bushings. New rotors, calipers, pads. Original spindles, new inner bearings. Serviced booster to eliminate vacuum leaks. Original booster and MC seem to be in good shape. Replaced front soft brake hoses, steel lines as needed.

Rear brakes (10") new as well. Rear brakes hang up a bit in 'Drive', only thing preventing from further road testing.

Coolant flushed, new t-stat and housing, oil change, spark plugs, fuel filter and hoses, battery, starter and wiring, got it running and idles in park and in gear- Edelbrock performer intake and Competition AFB from rebuild in late 70's- was told larger cam. No specs. I have the original intake, but not the carburetor. Having said that- full disclosure the cruise control system appears complete other than the carb linkage. Transmission feels strong- no slipping or clunking. 3.23 8-3/4 differential serviced.

New carpet, original upholstery, panels, dash. Radio works. Fan works. A/C complete but non-op. Power windows and top work. I've been detailing the interior and it's cleaning up good for an original. New black convertible top included.

Body got a repaint late 70's after someone backed into the quarter. Quarters, floors, trunk, trunk extensions, fuel tank need replaced. Rockers and fenders need some metal patches. My intentions were to get it on the road and pound it. If you want to restore it, it needs metal work.

$17k, offer. Trade for '68 Charger, or factory bulge hood '71 R/T or Bee. 4 speed preferred, auto full consideration. Realistic expectation similar overall condition. Can add cash if you've got one further sorted out and are seeking your next project.

I am in Southern Colorado. See link to my Craigslist ad for pictures, where you can also find my cell number for additional pics and info.

You brought that to my attention when I bought the car. It slipped my mind until I read your email again to update you on the broadcast sheet. I’ll drop you an email reply this week with what remains of the broadcast sheet.

Car is running nice, drove it around in the driveway for about twenty minutes last week after finishing interior assembly, and adjusting rear brakes. Can send video to anyone interested.
