I'm looking for a 1969 Coronet convertible project car. I'd prefer an R/T but a 500 will do.
Would a 68 500 do. 383 4spd car. Its all apart. All the rust repair is done. New floors, new trunk and quarters. Top good. Motor and trans done. Have boomerang hood. I might sell if your budget is close. Give me 6 months and it will be finished. MH
Good luck finding one at a decent price. Mecum is supposed to be auctioning a Hemi R/T convertible later this month http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_detail.cfm?LOT_ID=FL0114-175244&entryRow=1536
Sounds like a cool car. Thank you for the offer, but I'm going to hold out for a 69 project car.
What is your price range?
It all depends on the car is. What do you have, how much are you asking for it, and where is the car located? If you have pics, please send them to me.
I looked up the auction results. The Hemi R/T Convertible 4-speed sold for $100,000. If the car is as nice and original as in the description, I think someone got a good deal on the car. Supposed to be 1 of 2 Hemi 4-speed convertible cars?
Not mine and 1 year off but here's one http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/4269665156.html [h=2]1968 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible - $7500[/h]
that one is a fair price IF the car isn't to rusty in frame. and the 440 in the back ground is sweet!!
