I like to watch some of the old Tonka toy restorations on YouTube. First time doing an Ertl car. Don't think I would have painted the grill silver, but all-in-all, good job.

 
I like that home powder coat set-up. I see it in Eastwood and always wondered but never tried. I gotta find something that needs it now.

I could fit an old electric oven somewhere in the garage

should have painted the engine bay, body color too

different tires, not them mud & snows

I agree with Budnicks and add that the refinisher should have chromed the bumpers too since he had the paint out anyways. But, it is his car...

I wasn't aware that Ertl did those. Must be really rare since most posts regarding collectibles are about the Avon bottles, Kenner SSTs, and promos. Couldn't find much via Google on Tonka Chargers. Edit -. Oh Ertl lol. I'll attempt again.
