Car has been in Arkansas and Oklahoma most of its life. A buddy purchased the car in 1996 and brought it to IL. Work listed was done in the last 5 years. One of the most dependable cars he had ever owned. I acquired the car through a trade deal, and have too many cars.
Car was painted in 1991 factory Scorch red. Paint is old but in great shape. It does have a few marks that have been touched up and are hard to find. Looks great. Always gets compliments. Car is very clean. Floors, frame, and trunk are all in really nice shape. It looks like it has had rear quarters at some point. Trunk center also looks like it had a portion replaced.
To do list: (I am picky)
Windows have some scratches. Feel like they are in the tint on the windshield.
Lower dash has been repaired. Easy to replace. See them on EBay for $200-$300
All are livable, but should be done to take the car to the next level.
Car is extremely fast. On the verge of being violent. Over 500+ hp at the rear wheels.
Has great street manners and will idle in traffic without a fuss.
Runs, stops, rides, handles, and drives awesome.
Doesn't squeak or rattle like most b body Mopars do; and is a joy to drive.
These are getting very hard to find in this condition.
If you want a nut and bolt rotisserie restoration, this is not it. Nor is it priced as such.
If you want a stock appearing, super strong, scare small children and put a smile on your face car
This is it.
Please be realistic. This is a really well kept old muscle car that will only appreciate in value. It isn't a daily commuter, or going to knock down 20 mpg. If you haven't owned one prior, this probably shouldn't be your first one, and is a lot of car.
No trade deals, scams, or paypal transactions. As much as I enjoy Fast and Loud on TV, I don't negotiate like them and my price is pretty close to what I need to sell the car for.
Clean and clear IL title in my name
No calls after 10 pm.
