Considering the age of the car and the chance the box has been changed at some point, get some calipers and measure the shaft diameter between the Pittman arm and the steering box. Cheaper than having to pay a freight charge for a return because the wrong one was ordered. But it "should" have the smaller. Pick your poison.
I have a early '69 Coronet which has a 1-1/8" sector shaft.
From what I know is that they moved to the 1-1/4" shaft in 1970, as ckessel said you better measure it and know for sure.
