1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee V Code????

That’s a pretty rare car if it’s all numbers matching. Very expensive to restore. Fix what it needs and enjoy it. Restore it later in life when u think u can afford it. Kim
That is GOOD advice!
Also good advice... Get it in YOUR name (and NON/OP it!) before spending a dime on it! (Non op is important if it sits for ten years not non op, you will be liable for ten years registration, ask me how I know.)

That sounds like another revenue maker. I never had that problem in Maryland or in Pennsylvania.

But at least get the title in your name.

It is, but it's california, what do you expect?
I GAVE a contour svt to my best friends nephew, and it looks like he might have to spend $900 bucks registration to get it registered . (For a $2000 car)
(I'm gonna take it back to AZ and reg it there. Maybe $100, for FIVE years)

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates. Been busy with school. Couple of updates on the car can’t seem to open the trunk put the key in there twist it does nothing so I can’t verify the Vin on under the weather seal. I took a picture of the axle included below. I believe it is a Dana 60 according to the diagram so I believe this is a true 440 V code. I do have someone coming to help me out with the wiring and guide me in the right direction. The car is definitely gonna need bodywork on the front passenger panel picture below. Also, did these cars not come with a passenger side mirror there’s no hole no nothing. I’m so confused. The driver side has one. The passenger door does not have a mirror.

One of those rare examples of a gift becoming a curse. If it's the real deal, which looks promising, unless you are in dental school you'll probably never be able to afford restoring this. It's really rough and American isn't doing young men any favors anymore. But you could probably unload it for some decent scratch if the title goes through and put a down payment on a house some day.

there is no way i could buy a big dollar item sight unseen. to many scammers and deceitful people in todays world . i found one two years ago online. had good conversation with the man and when i attempted to make an appointment to see the car he froze up . he wanted me to send a check and have it shipped. didn’t want no part of showing the car ….

There will be some dead give aways. Check the torsion bars. Sway bar. Torqueboxes. Brakes. Dual exhaust hangers. Etc etc.
I'm not a 70 guy, but there's lots on here that know what to look for on a car of this pedigree.
70 V code B body cars did not have the torque boxes like Hemi cars and convertibles do. Only E body V code cars did. It has been a misconception that B body Sixpack and Six Barrel cars had the Hemi and convertible torque boxes. The 70 U code 440 cars, the V code 440 Sixpack cars, and R code Hemi cars did have the skid plate on the K frame though.

Long story short I am now in possession of what I believe to be a rare 1970 dodge coronet super bee v code. problem is I don't know anything about classic cars (im 21). The vin number reads WM21V0G250813. After decoding it online it comes out as this.
WM - Coronet Super BEE
21 - 2 Door coupe (rear window does not roll down)
V - 440 Six Pack V8
0 - 1970
G - St. Louis, MO
250813 - sequence number

Where I am stuck I have no paperwork for this car besides a California clean title. No buildsheet/broadcast sheet. Hell the car doesn't even have a fender tag which already questions the authenticity of the car. It's 4 speed pistol grip transmission. rear axle unknown. Original color unknown. Everything is unknown. Besides me knowing that's it's a super bee v code with a 4 speed I don't know nothing else. I don't know what the price on these cars are. I want to restore it but only if I know what it's worth. Ive been doing hours of research and I believe this is 1 of 109 made correct me if im wrong. Im hoping someone can guide me to find out the value of this car. I have included pictures of the car. Overall condition is okay. Body is solid. The interior is a mess of wires I don't know what the previous owner was doing. I do have a good amount of original parts for it such as the original radio and gauges. Also is there a way to get the build sheet or fender tag for these cars? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Congratulations on your Super Bee find! She gave you a really cool car! Take the advice given, replace the wiring harnesses, they are pretty much plug and play, then get the car mechanically sorted out and enjoy the car. I bet that it gets more attention than the restored ones at shows, plus you can drive and enjoy the car without the stress of worrying about it getting a chip or scratch.
