1970 Pistol grip shifter for console cars. Mopar dodge plymouth
All original condition.
Chrome has some pitting and a few spots of rust.
Original grips in decent shape, no cracks.
Somebody did a slight bend on the bottom, see pictures, this could be bent back easily if desired.

Biggest difference is the reproductions don't have the "Hurst" embossing in the handle. If your going for an authentic restoration then you'd probably want that OEM unit.;)

Also btw, on ebay the original console handles go for around this price as per the last few I saw and that is with chrome issues. So it does look like a price difference between originals and repop units.

the 4 spd console shifter that Brewers sells (repo) is a bolt in style -
original 70 only shifter handle are push-in type.
made only one year -

so if you are going for 70 correct - you need this one.

And it costs around $300 for it to be re-chromed.

Agree that original shifters are push in style and usually have “1” mounting hole. Whereas the repro handle that bolts in has “2” mounting holes.

Is the shifter listed for sale actually an original part ?
In the picture it looks to have “2” mounting holes like the reproduction handles.
