1970 road runner steering column floor shift collar conversion question

hi, i just bought the 3 piece 70 roadrunner column conversion for floor shift. the question i have is , there is a round hole on the side of collar underneath the ignition key. does anyone know what its for? thanks

Hole is there even with floor shift in '70... I looked for a picture, but don't have one. Can get one tomorrow...
 
This is an original OE column in my 70 Bird w/floor shift.

thanks, i figured it out. that hole is to get to an allen screw that holds column callar in place. thanks for all your help!
 
Are we talking about the same hole I'm showing? Why pictures are a great thing... lol
 
yep,same hole. thats were allen wrench goes through. i am converting my column shift to floor shift and figured it out when taking mine apart.thanks
