1970 Roadrunner 440+6, console 4speed, Dana, vitamin C, original everything, 2 build sheets, door tag, fender tag, last regi in 77'. All the best options, best color, best year, flawless pedigree. The one to have. Long time owner. Retired drag car, has altered rear openings but original Dana was untouched. Doors and nose all original and in great condition. Will need full metal from doors back. The car was complete when I purchased it but I pulled the engine, seats, carpet out of it before it went into storage. I was storing the car in a less then secure barn and I didn’t want any of the irreplaceable components there heaven forbid someone broke in. I feel a fair price is 25k, possibly will consider trades but honestly they would have to be lopsided
Please leave a message and I'll get back to you at my earliest convenience. Thanks guys
Some details. By original everything I mean:
Original, unrestored numbers matching engine. (Not some repaint and re-stamped like you see these jokers put out there)
All the original complete accessories for the engine, pulleys, brackets, intake with carbs and air cleaner, fan, starter, alternator, bellhousing, flywheel, inspection cover, shifter components and linkage

Original radiator, driveshaft, DANA 60, sway bars, K-frame, disc brakes…

The correct 1970 18-spline HEMI 4-speed box, unrestored

Parts that I have procured over the years are, NOS trunk extensions, flawless dash pad, cut out of a floor complete with hump and console brackets. I may also have a set of Magnum road wheels which would be correct for this car.

Some but not all of the options the car has are:
440+6, 390HP legendary sixpack power
18-spline HEMI 4-speed
Track-pack 3:54 DANA 60
XHD HEMI suspension
Max-cooling
EV2 Vitamin C / Go Mango, High Impact paint (no vinyl roof)
Blackout performance hood treatment, Longitudinal and transverse stripes
Premium Black High back bucket seats with woodgrain console with legendary Pistol Grip shifter.
Manual steering, power disc brakes.
Magnum 500 Road wheels with polyglass RWL tires

To find a car of this pedigree is rare, to find it with the original engine: super rare. To find it with the original engine and two build sheets a door sticker and fendertag! Unheard of. To top it off this car is unrestored, no filler over unknown bodywork, no questionable craftsmanship. Make this one your dream project starting from this ultra rare pinnacle RoadRunner.

Any thoughts guys? Think I may try to put on ebay.

I think $25k is too much money. If you want to sell it put it on ebay with a $15k reserve and let it rip. I think it will pull mid teens or a little better. Now is a good time to put it on there.

I agree. Project Mopars seem to be bringing strong money right now.

I'm inclined to think this one will bring a lot from the right buyer. Put it on ebay and find him/her. It is a V code, nice unmolested RR. Maybe even call GYC and see if they know of someone looking for something like this .. they may help and hope for the restore $$ if it's their buyer.

Car has altered wheelhouses, non airgrabber car that needs a ton of work, I might want to rethink your asking price.

Dont forget that it is a retired drag car, so the frame is liable to be twisted.

I put the car for sale on ebay. I any of you know someone who may be interested please put the word out. Thanks friends

did you sell off ebay? :eusa_think: I was getting ready to bid on it.. and it ended?? update?? jc

Hmmm,
Good Point....

The car is a "Rare and desireable V-code with many options"

I guess $70K for the resto....
