WTB 1970 six pac motor

I am interested in purchasing a 1970 440 six pac motor. I prefer the entire motor complete but would be willing to purchase block, intake etc. separately.

Depending on the build dates is the big thing now. I’d get the dates first and what time frame you need. Check your door tag and fender tag to see where you’re at. Make a nice detailed list of what you have for it. Take all the goodies & compare dates on all. The dates are stamped or cast on the parts . They use a pie wheel with a year cast in to the center like 69 . Just take some time, the better the list the more prepared you will be . It’s treasure hunting! Fasteners are all marked too . If you get a moment round up the guides from Dave Wise. F is for 70 , hp is correct ,but you need to also see cast dates for block, heads intake, carbs, etc. Mopar marked 99% of the items on the car. Some parts could be for a 70 but the cast or assembly dates could be too early or late depending on when your car was built. Keep in touch and post questions or start a thread guys on here are pretty sharp and tons of knowledge and ideas.

There is a book that records the date in and date out from Clearpointe; " Plymouth Superbird Nascar Race Program 1920 Serial Number List "
The first car came down on October 17, 1969. This was left as an exhibition there and left Clearpointe on December 19, 1969 as the last Superbird!
It had Wine No. RM23V0A149789.
Then a car came in on October 24, out on November 11.
3 cars on October 29, 1969, out October 4, 7 and 7.
If we now remember back at the meeting on August 25, 1969, then production was to start on October 1, so here they are clearly in arrears.
All cars must be completed by December 23, 1969, and there are now only 53 days left until this. It does not look like they worked on Sundays, so there are only 46 days left. 1920 cars: 45 days = 43 cars every day. (advance estimate was 37 cars each day)

On Monday 3 November, there will be a full semi-trailer with 5 cars, out 13, 13, 13, 14 November. and December 8, 1969.
Tirs.4.nov. there will be 12 cars, and out 11-17 November.
Wed.5.nov. there were 14 cars, out again 11-14 November.
Tors.6.nov. and Fri.7.Nov. a total of 30 cars arrive every day. Now it's really going on ...
Man. Nov 10 46 cars come in ... and for the first day in history, a car is taken in and mounted and out again the same day ... wow!

It is not marked HP but is marked as a special engine which I have not yet figured out just what that means exactly....it is internally balanced and has a forged crank. Some of the marks do not show well in the pictures. At first I was led to believe it was a 6 pack engine but am not positive if it is. I bought it without the manifold.
