Alright hit a little wall, I have been using a Gatorade bottle as a temporary fuel tank and starting my 1971 Plymouth satellite with it for a few days. Things seemed ok but I did not have great pressure. I swapped the pump and connected it to my tank that I put about a half gallon in, then primed the lines and attempted to start the car and fuel came puking out of the carb. I don't not have the 4 vents on the side of the fuel tank connected to anything but they are also not plugged. Is there something I need for the tank to work properly??? Does anyone know where to get the fuel vent manifold thing??? All 4 vents go to the manifold which seem to go to some kinda of loop through the trunk in order to vent it to ATM. Lastly I have an extra line coming out of the fuel tank off the sending unit where does this go?? Thanks guys hopefully getting on the road soon

Generally when a carb pukes fuel it is due to a needle / seat / float issue. Start there.

Are you running a mechanical or electric fuel pump?

on 71's they have a vapor recovery tank that is located in the drivers side wheel well
the tank hides behind a cover
if you need those parts, I have them
that is where your extra lines go to

What psi is at carb inlet line? How many line connections on pump? And are there two line fittings from tank? What engine type pump and is tank stock?

7 psi for a carb line pressure otherwise you'll overcome the needle and seat...

Address the fuel puking issue first, it is most likely unrelated to the vent manifold.

disconnect the coil wire so the engine only cranks.
pull the top of the carb off.
crank the engine and check to make sure the needle is fully seating and stopping fuel flow.
if not, clean/change the needle and seat.
if it is, ensure that the float is fully seating the needle.
if not, check the float for leaks and adjust it.
if float is fully seating the needle, Hmmmm.

This is a mechanical fuel pump with 2 connections on it one to the carb and one inlet from the fuel tank, going to get a pressure tester seeing I've been borrowing one for a few days I had to give back. Let you guys know what pressure it is at. I do not have the vapor recovery tank or any other components. Cant seem to find this component on any sites, can you send a picture? This car was just the shell and motor and ive been piecing it together. Seems like I will start with pressure test and disassembly of the top of the carb possible for the needle to get stuck. Thanks guys Ill let yall know results soon

(disconnect the coil wire so the engine only cranks.) Don't do this. If you think the ignition needs to be disabled completely remove the coil power source. With your puking carb you don't need to be also putting out a fire.

Could be when you hooked up to the cars' tank, the pump drew up debris from it.
Said debris could now be interfering with the needle/seat in the carb.
