A buddy of mine found this listing on Craigslist. No motor, transmission or seats. All the glass appears to be there. Its hard to see any real details. I was thinking parts car for my 71 SSP/RR Clone (any trim that may be left, lenses, housings, bezels, dash, switches, etc.) I could also use the lower right rear quarter panel and maybe a piece of the floor pan and trunk pan. I cant make out the picture clearly to tell if that is an air grabber hood or a stock hood with black paint. Ad says another hood is included. I have an air grabber hood on my car. I would also like to have the original 71 k-frame (mine is currently sporting a 69 Charger R/T k-frame). I have not seen it in person, yet. They are asking $1700. Not sure about a title. I would like some opinions on the car based on what you can see from the pics. You may see something I didnt. What would be a good offer. My buddy says $500 if they dont have a title but I do not plan on restoring it. Just using parts and maybe selling parts that I dont want or use. Let me know. Thanks...

If it is a air grabber hood and all parts are there it is worth it...beware of the body parts you want cause it looks like its had some primer recently and then left out to rust...
nice it still has the mirrors..

Well good luck in getting it:)

if no title, then $500 or so depending on visual inspection.make sure to take a magnet with you to check bondo thickness in body parts you want to use.

Looks like a standard Satellite hood that's been painted. The bubble on an air grabber hood would have more height to it.

opinion?
it looks like a good parts car to me..
you need to go look at it and play the game....

I say thumbs-up on a parts car. BTW, do the Satty and RR share the same grille? The recessed, 71-only turn markers are worth some coin also, if in good shape. Wait a minute!! I see hood pins and cable there! Might this really be an original RR!? You need to do some research! Get the first 4 of the VIN, or all of it if you can! This could be a real find!

I'd pay no more than 1000 for it.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I'm sure it's a Satellite. It still has the emblem in the grill. I agree about the hood. There doesn't appear to be a bulge. Just painted. The thing drawing me to the car are the market lights and bezels. Those things are insanely expensive for these cars. The mirrors too. Looks like the window trim is missing but I could also use the trim the water channels. I could use the tail lights but it's hard to tell if they are there or not. I might go check it out on Monday. Anyone need some B-Body parts?

I need the roof drip rail moldings :)

Just take a look at it and calculate the value in parts.

Looks like a flat hood with a hole cut in it to me.
A/G hoods had a large plastic center section that made a pronounced bump.
You can buy that repro, to convert a flat hood.

I have an Air-Grabber hood on my car currently. Thats why the one in the pictures looks fishy to me. I could use the roof drip rail mouldings too Tor!! Mine have, umm, barbed-wire impressions on them...thats a fun story for another time.

That looks like a decent restorable car.. Hope someone grabs it..
