need help on the tire and rim size front and back that will fill up the wheel well. Looking at 10 in the rear and 8 in the front if they fit. any suggestions on tire sizes
thanks

Joe

What are the rim widths?

I have 255 60 15 on 6.5 inch wide rallye wheels.

They fit, look and wear fine but they are technically 2 sizes too wide.

Was hoping to use 8 inch rim in the rear and 6.5 in the front

275-60/15 fits on the read and 245-60/15 on the front.
Can also go with a 305-50/15 on the rear

I measured a lot on my 71 Road Runner and as Mark said 275-60/15 on the rear with a 15x8 and 4.5 back space. Front 245-60/15 on a 15x7 4" back space was perfect. Pics when I get home.

I have 15x8s (4.5" backspace) in the back with 265 60 R15 tires and 15x7 up front with 245-60 R15 tires (4.25" backspace). I would have done 275's in the back but I had to go slightly narrower because I have a small wheel spacer to clear the disc brakes in the back but it fits exactly where the 275's would if there was no spacer. I personally think they fill the wheel wells out very nicely.
