I bought this 1971 Super Bee back in October, 2019.
It is an original B5 Blue car.
I have been slowly going at it, collecting parts, restoring some of them, buying NOS and used parts as I go along.
Below are pictures of the car as purchased and it's current state in the body shop as of 10/20/2022.
Previous owner did not get very far with it.
I have the car totally disassembled, down to the shell on rollers at the body shop currently, coming along slow but surely.
Original 383 4 speed car with 3.91 gears, it had a 440 HP installed of which I sold the other day to a FBBO member.
I sold it when a friend of mine let me know about a Hemi that was included when he bought out a local technical training school.
I purchased the 426 Hemi to install in it, currently at the engine shop, soon to be dyno tested.
I sold the chrome valve covers and scored a set of originals with the black krinkle finish.
I will post dyno test results once it has been run and other pictures as the project moves along.
