Is there any way to make a '71 Airgrabber hood work on a '72 charger?

Thank you!

Available both years so yes it will work. Vents are the only thing different on the hoods from 71 to 72. Charger is a Ramcharger hood.

Great, maybe I was thinking of '73 and up. Thank you.

Will work on a 73-74 just fine. Just was not available.

I don't think 73 &74 are interchangeable to 71 & 72. The nose is different.

The 71/74 Charger hoods are interchangeable EXCEPT for one detail. The front edge of the hood on 71/72 what hiddes vertically behind the bumper ( which works as a filler ) is a bit longer than 73/74. 73/74 were made shorter to accept the fender to bumper top brace which on 73/74 is a bit bigger. So if you get a Ram hood ( or any other 71/72 hood ) to install on a 73/74 will need to trim out a bit this vertical edge or filler.

Dunno how call this section of the hood... vertical edge... filler...

71/72 and 73/74 Plymouth can still bolt on and close.

Minor body line difference between the two designs.

latch and catch are the same. The diff ( between 71/72 and 73/74 ) is the release lever location and rod lengh
