I am looking for some opinion on an idea. Is there any interest in converting a standard rear valance for a 1972 Plymouth B-Body to a dual exhaust cut-out valance by using U.S.A. manufactured inserts. These inserts would of course need to be welded in place and cost in the range of $150-175 per set.

I have thought about going that route on my standard valance using a AMD 71 valance and cutting/welding the exhaust tip openings to the 72 valance.

I entertained a similar idea but after tracking prices of used parts I decided the math was not in my favor to make any decent money.

There is no real need for inserts for that application, Way less work needed to cut out and work/finish the edge to match the original cut-outs. Done it several times.
