1972 Parking brake cable grommet

I've installed the parking brake cable and successfully installed a new grommet where the cable exits the interior through the firewall under the front fender (top arrow). Is there another grommet where the cable goes through the torque box and back under the car? (lower arrow) It appears to be a different size hole and I'm not sure if there ever was a grommet there.

That's a great question and I had the same question when I did my 73 restoration. Because I didn't like the metal on metal contact, I went and got a rubber grommet from the local hardware store and installed it and here is the result.
