I took my '72 Road Runner to a car show on Saturday. the weather was iffy but fine when I left home and during the show. However on the way home it started to rain. Now for the first time since I have owned the car, I need to turn the wipers on. Lucky for me the driver side wiper worked fine, but the passenger side did not move. When I got home I opened the hood. I saw no connection between the two wipers. Is there supposed to be a rod that connects the two so the wipers can be synchronized, or is there one below the chrome mounding that runs across the cowl. Can someone send a photo of how it should look? that would be helpful. Thnaks

Remove plastic vent cover, stamped rod from wiper transmission, tie rod from drivers to passenger. Has bushings, known to fail, at all connections.

Nacho - the photo I posted is a proper 2 speed setup that I converted to work on a 3 speed set-up. I found out later that the dust boot is not used on a 3 speed set-up. The OP didn't mention if his was a 2 speed or 3 speed set-up.
