1973 Charger Rebuild

Brought the Charger home in July 2005.

In 2007 the transmission and the steering both broke. Time to do a frame-on stock restoration. Due to money and time this resto took until 2014. Took out the engine and transmission for them to be rebuilt.

Next, remove and clean out the engine bay for sanding and paint.

Applied 1 coat rust inhibitor, 1 coat sealer, 2 coats paint, 2 coats clear.

Engine and tranny are back. Time to put the engine bay back together with a lot of new and rebuilt goodies.

Now that the engine compartment is done, time to do the whole body for sanding to see what need to be metal fabricated.

While doing the body work, had the fenders, hood, doors, deckled sent out to be dipped.

The trunk of a 73 Charger can be a great recycle bin. It can hold at least 731 cans(35.5 cases) of your favorite beverage when working on your car project

Charger is back home and now it's wet sanding time and putting it back together.

New Vinyl top

Added a new roof liner, new dash harness, new engine harness, new a/c harnessing, and many more goodies. Just didn't want to put so many pics out here.Below is the end run for the road.

The wife gets credit for installing the bumpers and coming up with the idea for the bumper fillers. She did this on a Saturday while I was at work.
