I am looking to find out what is the max tire /rim combo I can fit on my 1974 Road runner without cutting anything. Would like to know what the backspacing needs to be to get the biggest tire under on the rear and what backspacing for the front tires also? Any help would be appreciated.

I'll know shortly. I just put 15 x 8 all the way around And I think the back space is either 4 or 4.25. I coulda, shoulda, woulda gone with a 5b.s. but I did not want to wait so long to get them. They are Cragar SS unilug 15 x 4.5/4.75/5.
Dang fools got me wrong washers and wrong lugnuts had to source locally. Also that wonderfull Cragar company sent center caps with a retaining screw that goes from the backing plate in to the cap that was too short:angryfire:.
Rims made in U.S.A, caps made in china, good thing there was a home depot next door. I used the 8" on the rear instead of the 10" to try and reduce section width, for every 1/2 in reduction in rim size section with shrinks 0.2in.
Tires are a tad of a mismatch T/A radials all of the way around 245/60-15 front look great. wanted to go with a 295/50-15 on the rear but when we got the car down off the jacks and had a load in the trunck they were barely rubbing on the tire. I ended up with a 275/60-15 on the rear and it looks great but it is about 2" more in diamater prbobably will throw off speedo a bit.
I had about 1/2 to 3/4 clearance to the fender and 1.5 to 2 in clearance on the inside sure wish I went with another 1/2 of backspace.
Works great on flat ground, but when I went up a steep incline from flat I saw a little tiny rub mark on the fender side. Day after tomorrow I'm going in to do a little roll on the fender, hell I only need a 1/4 in and there is 1.5in of material there.
So problem ...I'm not sure of the offset. I'll have to get back to you on that one, Backspacego with five. Had I done that all would be perfect with the 275 and I might be able to get 295 on there..
I also sent summit an email and had I done what they said rather than push it all would have worked. They gave me the best advice and had the best prices also I'll tell ya that many will cut clearance down under an inch. I'll tell ya don't do IT. or you too will be looking for a fender roller or a spring relocation kit or at a scraped tire. I'll let you know the rest of the story.
P.S. This is a 74 sat seb plus 318/904/8.25 it should be exactly the same as yours
