This one issue had the biggest impact on my tiny brain.
Just loaded with good stuff.

The Hot Rod the next year stuck with me.

I accidentally rediscover these today.

The "Rat Patrol" still runs around the streets of Motown.....

My buddy Matt owns it.

I've seen pics of that car recently, different scoop, same name on it, wondered if it was the same one or some kind of homage to the past.
34 years later it looks almost identical.
Hard to tell if the rims are the same.

I figured someone on here would recognize these cars.

Funny part on this issue, cover states the 62-71 part is a Bonus Section, but it's got to be more than half of the mag.

In the same issue, what do you do with an original AAR in 1985?

Stuff a blown hemi in it of course!

The 64 Savoy belonged to Tim Hennessey at the time. Here is a picture that I took of it at the Car Craft Nationals that were held in Syracuse in 1984.

I have that one, too. I had a '67 GTX, a '64 Belvedere post, and a '64 Fairlane 500 when I read that mag. I was in Heaven !!

Red interior, sweet.
Amazing car.

Check this out, in same mag.

I see a 4 door max wedge.

Me too! I was 14 years old and Orlikowski brothers made an impression on me. That magazine is in my bathroom vanity right now. It is the reason I own my '63 330.
