2022 ISMD 51st International Symposium on Multiparticle Dynamics

[Ghostrider 67]

Our son Tim is speaking at yet another conference of Physicists in Scotland this week. He was in South Korea a week and a half ago. He was in Italy before that. His work and research is well received by his peers as evidenced by the amount of excited and interested parties talking about it between speakers and at breaks. At 29 years old he is burning up the track in his chosen field of Particle research in experimental physics. Here's a picture my wife took pf him speaking this morning in Scotland.

ISMD2022, Atholl Palace Hotel, Pitlochry, Scottish Highlands​

Welcome to the 51st edition of the ISMD conference series, bringing together physicists from across particle, nuclear, and astro-physics for talks and discussions on all aspects and consequences of the strong nuclear force and complex final states.
All scientific sessions at ISMD are in plenary session to encourage cross-talk between areas, organised into the following scientific tracks:

• Hadron structure
• Forward and diffractive physics
• Collectivity and multiple-scattering
• Jets and QCD at high scales
• Hadron spectroscopy
• High-temperature QCD
• Hadronic issues in heavy-flavour physics
• Cosmic ray and astrophysics

as well as a poster session with prize and associated short talks.

He and my wife are staying in that Palace Hotel and my wife has one of the few rooms that is on a corner in the rounded part and has 4 big windows. Her's is facing the rear of the place and looks out over the countryside and the highlands from the top floor. Very posh. Small village downhill below the place.

They did a distillery tour of the local village whisky maker, said it was sublime.
