as I understand it I can't use my six pack set up with the current 2 speed wiper motor ,is there another way ?

Brother unless this is a restoration where you need a 6bbl, I wouldn't even consider it. I run a 6bbl but if it wasn't already on the car, I wouldn't have one. There are tuning issues and as you have already discovered, a lot of work and expense with the wiper motor swap. I'm still having problems getting my wipers to work properly. It's just not worth it.

is this a pic of a 71 with a 2 speed wiper motor ? it is the car that the six pack came off and it looks like a 2 speed to me

I don't have a 71 but if it helps I have a 68 with a 2 speed motor. And in order to keep it that way and have the six pack I had to modify the air cleaner base to allow for everything to fit. At the time I did that - some 40+ years ago I didn't know anything about a 3 speed wiper motor. I thought what I did was my only option. Back then I probably could have had a 3 speed motor pretty cheap. Just an FYI.

What is needed on a 66 coronet to change fron 2sp to 3sp wipers....?
