305/50/15s

Hi Folks,

I have the opportunity to purchase some 15" x 8" Cragars.

The two front ones have 265/50/15 TAs and the rear 305/50/15 TAs. The wheels have a 4" backspace.

Does anyone know if those 305s will fit under the rear of a '70 RR?

Also, I would think the 265's might cause some clearance issues at the front with the steering?

I have 295/50/15's on three different sets of wheels (Rallyes, Cragar & Road Wheels) with a lot of room for clearance all around & it really pulls in the sidewall but I think it looks pretty good. I only went this route because I wanted a nice wide tire but more of a stock look without the whole jacked up appearance 275/60/15's make. Here are the Rallyes & Cragars pictured. I would think 305's would be too wide for just an 8" wide wheel?

You will want a min 10" wheel for 305's. 295 on 8" wide wheels is to narrow.
