Finally was able to get a mechanical oil pressure test kit. Harbor Freight $22. I then proceeded to do a drive test as the hose was long enough to make it to my dash pad. Pressure was 62 psi cold idle in neutral cold. After warm up it came down to 26 psi hot in neutral low idle. Got about 10 psi for every 1K rpms up to about 60 psi hot.
Pics Hot Idle and Cold start Idle.

Question: How do you know your a gearhead? Answer: When you drive around with an oil pressure gauge hose out your window. :)

At least you know how to read the gauge!! Can't say the same for a lot of people.

Quoting the ideal gas law will definitely confuse a lot of people.
I am not sure lots of smart folks here and other car sites. If you think about it working on cars is a very technical hobby. The more you think you know the more you realize there is more to learn. At least for me which is one of the reasons I love this hobby.
