Breaking in a fresh 340 for my 68 charger...dare to be different!

This run stand is the best thing a buddy and me ever built...have dedicated stuff for both big and small block. Catch all problems before installing in car!

They never have problems on the stand or dyno, they must get claustrophobic when installed in the car and that's when the problems show up.

We used a similar setup except we set it up to hold the K-member so we could just lower the car down on it once it was ready. Was a nice way to break in a cam, retorque heads and headers and check for leaks.

Mine doubles as an engine cradle. I can remove the upper part attached to the engine and set the engine on the ground. Saves space I can also slide the engine forwards or backwards on the stainless steel roller rack. I guess it could work with small blocks too.
