    I have a 361 trying to identify it. Casting is 210429-6. 6 18 9 which I think should be 1959.
The pad looks like it is PS8 8188C, possibly P58 8188C.
When I look at different charts, they all show what years the other numbers were made and what bodies they were in. Except for 20429 .
If anyone can answer this, i would be happy.
    Thanks

    The casting is 2120429-6
The ID pad PS8 or P58 8188C this is an old engine. Thinking 1959

    440 source shows a 2120529 as a 61 413, and a 2120329 as a 61-64 383. Not a lot of help, but thats all i could find.
    1737629 shows as a 361 from 58-62.
Could yours be an industrial engine?

Wouldn't the "-6" equate to the mold revision and the "6 18 9" be the cast date?

    Here's what is on a '68 block I have......
