Pops, only one? statesboro blues, one way out, southbound, you don't love me, thier take on the muddy waters tunes, etc, etc. we used to call jessica the national anthem! it was my traveling music. harley-davidsons and all the excesses. some memories that make me smile on the inside, but God knows i wouldn't do them again. in '75 or '76 i was at my brothers apartment and he really got me indoctrinated with Live at the Fillmore East. i was somewhat typical of the time. going thru the bs's of life; women-job crap. got my "blues jones" on and never left it. i got a new cable tv thing that has AXS tv. been watching these guys again. seen them live once. thanks guys for the memories!
there are so damn many great ones in their catalog, how can you pick just one??? well, here's my contribution
Yep. One of my favorite bands. Seen them several times in the last few years with Warren Hanes and Derek Trucks. Always good. And yes, they retired in Oct of 14. Last show was at the Beacon theater in NY. Pretty sure this isn't cheating since it is Duane Allman on guitar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKm1rGLC1DU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAyaw4ktO5g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gDhR1R3S0s
