If you care about originality, this might be for you -- fully documented, unmolested, 2 owner, 1968 Hemi Coronet R/T.
This pillarless hardtop had a scheduled production date of December 29, 1967, and is #11 of 22 in VIN sequence of all 1968 Hemi Dodge Coronet R/T 2 door hardtops accounted for at the St. Louis, MO plant. Notable options include:
• 426 Cubic Inch Hemi engine with 2-4 BBL
• 4 Speed Manual Transmission, Dana rear end (3.54 ratio)
• Rallye Instrument Panel Cluster
• Delete Standard Stripe
• Sure Grip Differential
• 3 Spoke wood Grain Steering Wheel
• Center Front Seat with Armrest
With just 20,000 documented miles this Coronet R/T carries just about every original nut and bolt. The only major modification was a protective respray of the factory silver paint by Dodge City of Statesboro, GA some 20 years ago. A respray that was required after relentless waxing and cleaning by the original owner. The key to this preservation might be at nearly half a century old, she has traveled less than 420 miles per year, and spent her entire 50 years here in the Savannah, GA area.
Documentation includes: original window sticker, factory build sheet, dealer invoice, bill of sale, owner's manual, warranty card, original keys, repair invoices and every license plate that this car ever wore... even have the original tires. Galen V. Govier documented and certified for originality.
