I have been trying to find headers that will fit my charger. I got a nice set that said they would fit a 440 mopar but hit my torsion bars and would not fit my car. After reading about others some had the same problem. I know there are some out there that will fit. Do any of you have any suggestions of headers that you know will fit for sure? I have aluminium edlebrock heads.
Thanks for your help,

I would only trust TTI. I had to bang the heck out of my dougs for a so called “perfect fitting header”

research the new hedmen ultra headers, they claim a better fit than most, plus they actually made headers for mopar in the 60 era,

I have TTI's on my 68 Charger with the 440. Perfect fit and they are the 2" tubes too which is excellent! i can snap a pic of you need to see them. Let me know.

I can say for sure the Jegs ceramic 1 7/8" headers needed some beating around the tortion bars to fit.

Best bet is TTI for a drop in, no mod fit.

I have found some TTI's that I like. Their sales reps are out of town until Tuesday. I just wanted to discuss their suggestions before I commit to buying.
I am always visual and would like to see a picture of your headers if you get a chance.
Thank you for your help.

If you call bill at Chicago connection he typically has a few sets on the shelf.

Those are the 2" primaries coated. I use the plug wire covers to keep the heat down on the boots and wires.

Great pictures, thank you.
It's nice to see how they fit around the suspension and the torsion bars.
I like the plug wire covers too. Good ideas.
(Nice charger color)

Yea they fit really nice around the lower suspension gear.

Thanks for everyone's advice on this thread.
After getting advice and help from many of you on this site, I decided to spend the money and get TTI headers that are made for and fit my engine and car. They look great and seem to fit well and I don't regret it. I will leave them off until I break my engine in. For engine break in I will temporarily use my original exhaust manifolds and some pipe to take that first hot run.
