I’ve got 5 BFG 7.75-14 bias ply blue stripes that I removed from my 66 Hemi coronet. I used a tire gauge to measure tread depth. The spare never touched ground still has nubs on the tire . The new tire measures 11/32 inch two others are 8/32 to 9/32 other two are 7/32, no repairs held air fine. New they are 342.00 each asking 1125.00 for 5 plus shipping. OBO Thanks Dan
Dan - what is the dot numbers on the tires, really only need the last 4 digits. This is the production date, Should he something like 0221 which Would be the 2nd week of 2021
I’m familiar with tire date codes ( 4 digit) first 2 is the week of production last 2 is the year. I was looking on the internet and also cokers web site and it’s not so straight forward on tires made to mimic the originals. They claim that often original molds are used in which the last 3 digits of the dot number are not changed. a Anyway these tires do not have 4 digit codes. So I’m going to show you the dot number. The last 3 are 120. If you have other info on determining age I’d love to learn.
Ps there is no cracking or checking in the rubber. They are not hard, rubber is as you would expect it to be, supple.
3 digit typically means pre-2000. No idea in Y2K when they flipped to 4 digit. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tire...54820920617!e!!g!!dot tire codes&gclsrc=aw.ds
