SOLD 500 cid stroker

500 cubic inch low deck stroker - NEW! Zero passes but have dyno sheet. "230" block, Molnar 4.15 crank, Molnar 6.76" rods, Icon forged and coated pistons (4.38" bore), Mahle rings, Howards .660" lift roller camshaft, Comp Cams roller lifters, push rods and stainless roller rockers, Mancini timing set, SFI approved damper, external oil pick-up, Trick Flow 240 heads, Edelbrock 383 Torker intake (due to hood clearance issues). Engine built and dyno'd by Dale Meers Racing Engines in Buffalo, KY. On his, admittedly, stingy dyno (6% low according to him) this engine made 673.73 HP and 647.97 ft. lbs. torque. Would make more with a better intake. Distributor and motor plate do NOT go with engine. It is currently in our car, but we plan to back up some as we would have to put a 12 point cage in an historic car. Must arrange for pick up in Maryville/Knoxville, TN area - will not ship. $17,500 or best reasonable offer.

How did the walls check out @ 4.38 bore. What comp. ratio.

4.38 is only .005 more than a the popular 4.375 bore. Being a 230 block, (or a 400 for that matter) wall thickness isn't really an issue - no we did not sonic check, no real need. Compression ratio 11.75 to 12.00.

Price reduction. Probably shouldn't do this quite yet, but here goes. $15,500 or best REASONABLE offer. It's going to be hard to get that much power for that price unless you own a machine shop and a dyno.
