i need some info on a 9 year old 528 hemi crate motor #P5007630 its still in the box are the newer generation hemis any better-worse etc,

Engine in storage

Grab it and change the valve springs! Nothing wrong with a 9 year-old engine except the valve springs will be all over the place as far as installed pressure.

i think you can buy a better motor from say muscle motors ect for a few bucks more than that...i know i would not pay 14 k for a crate motor thats gonna need work already
