I'm still having problems with my 6 pack. It's a newly built 1975 440 with a mild hydraulic flat cam. 462/470 lift,
262-270 duration, 218 intake,224 ex. rpm 1,300-5,600. 4500 ft elev. Can't get it to stop strutting at low or high speeds. It's driving me crazy. It's not bad, but I know it's there. No smooth ride. I've changed jets, power valve. I have the bowl vent open and the crankcase to the valve cover on the center carb. The manifold goes to the pvc. on the other valve cover. Not sure if all the vents are going to the right place or not. Help anyone....
Thanks

Mine don't have a purge system. Center cab has a standard bowl. I run just a breather cap on one valve cover. PCV port center carb to the positive crankcase valve on the other valve cover. Manifold vacuum behind rear carb to power brake booster if ya got PBs. Mine is plugged.

Download the '70 service manual. I believe there are pictures in there.
