Ordered a 62-63 big block bulkhead engine wiring harness, trying to install it and it looks all good except for the plastic connector that slides into the bulkhead. the plastic tab won't allow it to fully insert it in, unless I cut that tab off.anyone have a picture of a correct bulkhead with the engine compartment wiring installed ??

Mine is original to the car. What I did was look up the wire size and colors in the factory service manual. Went to NAPA and bought the different color and sizes that I needed and replaced the old wire with the new wire. You need to remove each connector, un-crimp them and re attached to the ends of the new wire. Some connectors, male and female, were bad and had to buy new ones. Any original ones were cleaned up before re-using.

The clip on the side of the connector (there is one on each side) holds the connector tight to the bulkhead.
