I am in the process of designing a new set of gauges for my 63 Fury remod project.
Everything will be replaced, gauges, wiring harness, etc.

I am wondering what the item, outlined in the picture below is called and it's function.

Anybody out there have old documents that describe this function ?

Thanks

Maybe others can get it but I get an "invalid attachment" note when I try to access what you attached.

Same here ???

Sorry guys, but no response from admin as to why picture would not post.

However, I have determined that the name I was searching for is "voltage limiter"; an electromechanical regulator for the dash gauges, very old technology.
Modern electronic regulators are much more efficient .
Since I am replacing all of the dash functions, I need not be concerned with these old relicts.

If interested, just search for "voltage limiters, Plymouth" ...... it is all out there.

If you are replacing the fuel gauge and the temp gauge with aftermarket pieces the voltage limiter serves no purpose.
