Ok folks this is what I'm working with

Tried some kleen paint stripper on the inside fender wells. Man that stuff works great and cost is great

This is going to be a slow build. Got to watch the money but should have the engine in a couple weeks.

KK should chime in any minute now!

Thanks everybody will try and do it justice. You told have already helped in so many ways. Really want to give comparator a big shout out. He has been great in the search for parts and the what to do list. Thanks again folks

Moparstyle the big shout out he has been awesome. Sorry new tablet and my spelling sucks. Thanks again

So jealous of the rust free stuff out west! East coast relics are typically a basket case. Good luck with your build. What's going in it?

Straight up 30 over 440 and a auto. Has stealth heads, 284 grind pistons are 10 flat tops going to have a 6Pac and tti headers. Intake and heads port matched same with the exhaust. Trans not done yet but will match up with engine. Rear gear 3.55 sure grip

KK should chime in any minute now!

Nice '64 Bearman

Yep, it reminds me of my '62 when I first got it. Rust free California car. That's more than half the battle when it comes to cost and labor to restore!

I spy long wheel studs in the one picture. Maybe raced at one time?

not sure the guy who had put them in. He told me he was setting it up for that. It suppose to have super stock springs already not sure yet. Also put slant 6 torsion bars up front. Has removed auto foot brake and installed clutch pedal hook up which I will have to change back.

Your ride turned out great. Love that year with the chrome and curves the style can't be beat.

Luckily you got it before the hole was cut in the floor! You'll have lots of fun with it!

I feel the same way. I very happy with the savings on body work. Nothing cut up in it and all the trim in good shape.
