Just starting the build on a 64 Plymouth Belevdere for a friend. This is going to be a Hemi Super Stock . Here is the car as we got it, This is going to be a leaf spring car and will be capable of running 8.50 or better. Lots more to come. 20140916_140304.jpg20140916_140319.jpg20140916_140341.jpg20140916_140632.jpg20140916_140649.jpg

Installation of the wheel tubs. Trying to make the car look some what original. With the trunk panted in splatter paint most will never see the modification and we can fit a 11x30 tire under the car.IMG_0523.jpgIMG_0525.jpgIMG_0526.jpgIMG_0527.jpgIMG_0528.jpgIMG_0532.jpgIMG_0534.jpgIMG_0536.jpgIMG_0537.jpg

WOW, nice starting point. Nice clean slate! I just finished my 64 belvedere this summer. Only thing left is a stout engine and some interior work. Can't wait to watch the progress on yours!

Looks really nice. How wide will the tires and wheels be on the back? Are you going to put the torque boxes in? They are supposed to help stiffen the car too.

We will be able to fit 12.5x32 tire on a 10 inch rim. Wont be putting the torque in have some other ideas for that. The suspension is going to be some what unique. Going with a Bondo Bob's tubular K frame and coil over shocks on the front with rack and pinion steering. Rear will be with a Cal track type leaf springs with rear sliders. Stay tuned more pictures to come

Thanks that is my son's place he is doing the chassi and roll bar etc.

Very nice work. Sounds like it going to have killer Hemi. Ron

Nice car. I wish mine was that nice to start. What are you planning for power for 8.50 or better? Force fed or spray? Looks like you'll need at least 1100hp.

Looks good. I tied my front bars to the cowl just below the windshield. Also tied the main hoop to the B-Pillar (see pic).
