Please excuse my ignorance as I am still new to Mopars, I see it is a steel bel housing , thus the term, race, so was this piece used in production cars or was it sold as race equipment by the dealerships.....thanks....

I was told these came on the actual vehicle when ordered, but I cannot confirm that 100 percent
