This car was built back in 2007, traded hands a few times and has about 2,500 miles post-build. But it's trailer queen / show car / garage ornament life is over. It has 10 y/o drag radials and I'm having some kind of fuel or electrical problem -- maybe it'll start; maybe it won't.
The shipper dropped it off Wednesday. So I did the responsible thing. I checked the oil and tires and hit the track Friday. Ran a 8.017 at 84 mph on a 1.912 60'. Not impressive but it hooked and ran clean. The tach is on the floor so I used the "guess it's time to shift" method. The oil pressure dummy light lit up, which is a little concerning but the aftermarket oil pressure gauge looked good and the engine is quiet.
Then....... it wouldn't start in the staging lane so it reverted to a show car. Time to get it sorted out.
