66 belvedere wagon gas tank vent?

underneath the fuel tank seal is a 2nd little tube next to filler neck towards back of car.
bout 1" long pointing down.
what connects to this if anything?

There should be a metal vent tube that empties into the top of your gas filler tube. There is a rubber elbow available to connect these two pipes. It also comes in a kit that also has the larger elbow and clamps that connects the fuel fill pipes.

Can you share some pictures? I’m trying to rig a return line for my 66 Belvedere Wagon right now.. considered using a vent line and getting a vented cap
