Not bad, but it's actually a 67 wonder if there is a registration?
Looks like the torsion bar might be broke?
      I'll go with you...

It has "V8" emblems and a 4 barrel.

        Not correct for either year.

        Looks fairly solid, though.

Really??! People here certainly have a better eye than me. I'd say that looks like a '67 master cylinder tho... Lefty71

          Yes a few differences:
          1. dual master cylinder
          2. the weird heater hose arrangement on the firewall
          3. Emblems on the seat backs.
          4. Full length console is different particularly the back armrest
          5. Would have had fender mounted turn signal indicators 66 does not have these
          6. Available with road wheels

Also I don't think I've ever seen an interior hood latch on a 67.
            Not sure about this one.

            Referencing the OP link.
            Yes.
            I those are 67 fenders.
I see the large hole for the turn signal indicators.
And that is 67 pleating on the seat.
            The "V8" emblems.
Was there some difference in what car would have this based on engine size maybe?

"V8" was used on 2 bbl big block and all small block.

In 66, only 383 (all 4 bbl in 66) and 426 got call outs.

In 67 383-4 (67 was first year of 383-2), 440 (67 was first year), and 426 got them.

66 was last year of 361. Was replaced by 383-2 in 67.

The same hold true for Coronet.

...so this car was either a 2 bbl car with a 4 bbl added (or transplant) or a SB car with a transplant.

A friend of mine has a beautiful 70 Roadrunner, and so does his brother. Anytime they are in an awards show that I put my car in, even if it's a "70 Roadrunner only" category, I'm getting 3rd place behind them. That's ok though because I get plenty of compliments and my baby isn't a slouch, it's just that they do all of the "correct factory this" and marks and stampings that, but I make my car the way I want it, and beat on it at a "red light turns green" or mostly on the 1320...
Besides, if I went the route they have gone, all the money I spend on stuff that I like, like my Scat Procar bucket seats and Dakota digital dash (I've had the dash for 3 years and still haven't installed it  but I got it for a couple of hundred dollars off, so...) I wouldn't have money for anything but chasing correct parts.
Anyway I bring him up because he has a BEAUTIFUL red 67 Charger and he is willing to sell it. I LOVE the interior of those Chargers, but I am disappointed that they have such a low selling price.

I am sure that if this car was correct for its year and options, that it would be worth much more. Having said that it looks like it is returnable to a "driver" quality car. Which is where it would provide the owner with a great experience(fun, turns heads, not as big a worry as a perfect show car). Maybe this car would be best served as someones start in mopar resto. Fair price, mostly complete....I dunno. If I had the money, I would probably buy it and see where it goes from there. I really like the shape and looks of the 66-67 chargers.
