66 Hemi axel

Can anyone verify what axel code a 66 Hemi Belvedere automatic would have? I think it would be 229 - a 8-3/4 sure grip with 3.23 and 11” drums.

That's correct. A 742 housing I believe.

My 66 looks like 228 but could because it's an open no SG. I See Jerry answered.
