Ok so I have a 66 charger and I'm installing the washer bottle and pump then gonna run the hoses. Friend of mine is saying there is a screen type nut that goes onto the washer bottle that the hose attaches to then after that I hook up the hose to the pump and then to the dash. My question is, is there really a screen that I need for the install, I got a complete kit and this screen that he is talking about is not in the kit. If i could get pics of ppls washer bottle and pump setup. That would be great.
Thanks in advance

The 66 B-Body washer bottle uses a external pump and thus no screen or filter as found on the 67 style or the 68 to 70 B-Body washer bottle.

The screen nut was used in 67 and newer.
In 67 The pump sits in the bottom of the reservoir.
66 has a nipple on the side of the reservoir that feeds the pump that is mounted on the fender well.
