Any tips on removing speedometer cluster, radio knobs etc on a 67 belvedere or do I need to just remove the whole dash?

It's not hard to remove the whole cluster....what are you needing to do?

Been a few years but seems that it's easier (maybe necessary) to loosen the steering column and lower it a few inches so the cluster will rotate out and down out of the dash. Also the release on the light switch knob is a little tricky if you haven't worked on these cars much. There is a release button behind the cluster that has to be depressed so the knob and shaft will pull out. So you have to snake your hand up behind there to find it.

not sure on cluster but windshield comes out before dash does..

Not removing the dash....just the cluster. The 66 Cluster also comes out without dropping the column and would think the 67 would too but maybe not....?

I have found it best to lower the column. Chock your wheels then disconnect the battery and remove the plastic lower column cover (if it is still there). Next remove the 4 bolts on the column mount at fire wall. The steering column has two nuts and a bolt that mount it under the dash, remove them. You should now be able to reach behind the dash and unplug everything. After everything is disconnected you can remove the screws in the front of the cluster (they attach the cluster to the dash). The cluster is a tight fit but with a little bit of wiggle you can remove it. Hope this helps
