Long story short, I bought 15×7 4"BS steel wheels for the front, and 15x8 4" BS for the rears. With 275/60's I couldn't get the 15x8's under the stock rear.
I tried the 15x7's in the rear and they worked. I sold the 8" wheels, and need to buy 15x7 wheels for the front. My plan is to run 225/70/15's on the front. Just so I don't run into the same clearance issues, anyone have any info regarding the required backspace for this combo on this car? I would guess someone has done this before...

4 inch backspace on 15x7 is good. On a 15x8 wheel a 4.75 inch backspace is what I run with a 275/60/15 drag radial and no rubbing. I do have super stock leaf springs that raises the rear about a inch.
