Just bought a replacement switch…it has the normal connectors on the top that the harness plugs in to but on the back there is an extra tab- anyone know what is supposed to go on it?
That tabs is for grounding, only on aftermarket replacements. It is extra and not needed. If the switch isn’t grounded through the mounting then you have no dash lights.
