Thanks for this. I'm interested in how you get the flattened out dented aluminum back in to that rough beveled shape. Mine are pretty flattened out on the sides. Do you have a special shaped dolly? I'm determined to give it a go since i'm a diy kind of person and have a cheap pair of surrounds that i'm not afraid or messing up. Looks like someone already attempted and gave up but not before creating two small cracks. I've been doing some test hammer and dollying on an aluminum sill plate off my more door parts car to give me an idea how to work the aluminum. Knocking some dents into it and hammering them out. I think i can do it if i can get the beveled edges back into the rough shape they came from the factory.
